JOB DESCRIPTION:
For this position we are looking for junior/senior engineer with an interest in real time operations for the oil & gas or process industry. You will be required to use your engineer skills to troubleshoot real time IT solutions to support business processes. You must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with end users in a global environment and to translate their business needs into existing or new IT solutions. You will need a good knowledge of N-Tier architecture, database administration and software development skills are a big advantage. Above all you will be a self-motivated individual looking to develop a career with a desire to learn and grow professionally.
DESIRED PROFILE:
Engineer (petroleum, process, chemical, automation or software) will have the opportunity to develop an overview of many different aspects of the process industry. An engineering background is needed to understand a wide variety of the business aspects. A strong interest in the latest software technologies is needed to translate these needs into real-time solutions. Regular contacts with end users will give you the opportunities to steer product enhancements. You should have good report writing and presentation skills. Applicants should have the right to work in the EU and write and speak fluent English. Your work location will be in the IPCOS office.
