INCA OPC connectivity

OPC (Ole for Process Control) is a non-proprietary technical specification that defines a set of standard interfaces based upon Microsoft's OLE/COM technology.

Traditionally, each software or application developer was required to write a custom interface, or server/driver, to exchange data with hardware field devices. OPC eliminates this requirement by defining a common, high performance interface that permits this work to be done once, and then easily reused by HMI, SCADA, Control and custom applications.

IPCOS makes, on demand, dedicated interfaces to connect for all our products to your plant control system. If possible OPC is used because that is the standard interface that is used within our products.
To be able to get the maximal performance from the interface we design our own connectivity tools. These tools are available as products.

With these products you can connect all your MATLAB®, gPROMS applications to an OPC server.
