IPCOS and BSN Glasspack signed an agreement for a Leading Edge Glass Application at the Vayres plant (France)
BSN Glasspack / Owens Illinois today is the world leader in Container Glass with 83 manufacturing sites worldwide of which 42 sites are located in Europe. IPCOS is a Leader in Process Control and Optimization with proven track in the Glass industry.
The Research and Development department of BSN Glasspack / Owens Illinois located at Saint Romain en Gier (France) took the initiative for this Leading Edge Glass Application (INCA based) who will be applied at the Vayres plant (Bordeaux, France).
The R& D department at Saint-Romain en Gier truly believe that this Model Based Predictive Control application will bring substantial value to the plant operations. BSN Glasspack and IPCOS join their competence to develop an industrial control tool dedicated to the container glass. The outcome of this application will result in a technical break trough quality value for BSN Glasspack and thus increasing the market leader position of BSN Glasspack / Owens Illinois.
