Uhde and IPCOS Strategic Alliance on Advanced Process Control

Uhde GmbH, Dortmund, Germany, and IPCOS, Boxtel, The Netherlands, entered a partnership on Advanced Process Control (APC). The cooperation follows last years successful APC applications in Uhde plants.
The companies will jointly promote IPCOS' APC solutions in conjunction with Uhde's process know-how. APC optimises plant operations with regard to throughput, raw mterial and energy consumption and is an important lever to improve comptitiveness.

The market gains advantages from IPCOS leading role in APC solution technology in combination with Uhde's in depth process know-how and project management capabilities. This results in a unique offering for potential and existing customers of Uhde's technology.

APC is an important module of Uhde's Plant Management System that increases throughput, availybility and safety of chemical process plants using state of the art control and information management technologies while improving simultaneously product quality, yield, raw material and energy consumption.
