IPCOS has succesfully implemented a combined Presto and INCA installation on a solvent plant based on reactive distillation, at Ineos NV Antwerp.

Presto is used for on-line monitoring of product qualities, while INCA is used for tight product quality control and throughput optimization. The production of the plant was increased by 2.5%.

Besides tight quality control and increased production the combination of Presto and INCA stabilized the process. As such more insight in plant behavior was acquired resulting in further optimization.
