IPCOS has developed Tubingline@MAX to fulfil the requirements from demanding glass tube
manufacturers. The package assists you to maintain tube dimensions despite varying conditions in your forehearth or around your Danner pen. It will reduce the product changeover time and the time to recover from process upsets. With Tubingline@MAX you will see dramatically reduced variations on the main tube dimensions and increased Cpk's. Standard deviation in tube dimension can be reduced by 50% to 80%. This system provides full line control functionality including interfacing to a broad range of diameter and wall thickness sensors. Tubingline@MAX also has an integrated and sophisticated sorting function.
In combination with our other Glass@MAX solutions called Melter@MAX and Feeder@MAX you will be able to optimize your Tubingline@MAXperformance through the use of information from the melter and forehearth control. Tubingline@MAXenables more efficient process operations and a quick return on investment. Tubingline@MAXsystem can be used for Danner, Vello and Vertical drawing processes.
